- Nightreign Patch 1.01.1 released today.
- Improvements include “Automatic Revival Upon Defeat” and increased rune gains.
- Potential Patch 1.02 releasing this week.
FromSoftware has released Elden Ring Nightreign Patch 1.01.1 today, and it includes several bug fixes alongside improvements tailored for solo expeditions.
Deployed just three days after the game’s official release, Nightreign Patch 1.01.1 will introduce key enhancements for solo play, as detailed on Bandai Namco’s official website. These improvements include:
- The addition of “Automatic Revival Upon Defeat,” an effect that allows solo players to revive once per night boss battle.
- An increase in the amount of runes gained.
- Increased number of high-rarity Relics that can be obtained as a reward when reaching Day 3 during Expeditions.
- Increased probability of obtaining high-rarity Relics from Scenic Flat stones purchased at the Small Jar Bazaar.
It is also worth noting that an official X post from Elden Ring on May 30, 2025, mentioned the release of “Patch 1.02” this week. Howver, the prospect of two separate, content-rich patches with distinct server maintenances within a single week is generally uncommon for major game releases. This indicates a high possibility of a patch numbering discrepancy between the information on their X post and the detailed Steam announcement.
